Renowned testing services
The testing services of Labo De Nayer serve multiple purposes. We are qualified and accredited for testing and certification of electrical and electronic products. Manufacturers also rely on our testing related facilities and expertise to push engineering forward. Our testing services enable product managers and developers to continuously improve the EMC, safety & reliability aspects of their products, and save time and effort overall.
Global certification
As a BELAC-accredited organisation, the certificates and test reports issued by Labo De Nayer are recognized internationally. Labo De Nayer is also recognized by the IECEE CB Scheme and classified as a CB Testing Laboratory (CBTL). In addition, Labo De Nayer collaborates with PCCB (Product Certification Center in Brussels), which operates as NCB (National Certification Body) within the IECEE CB Scheme.

EMC
EMC and RED directives require compliance with Electromagnetic compatibility in order to sell electrical and electronic products in Europe. Labo De Nayer supports a broad range of civil, telecom, military, space and automotive standards and offers a diversity of full compliant test rooms, and could even support flexible engineering measurements on site.
-
Acting as notified body (NB2758) for EMCD
-
CAB for FCC (US), accredited for Australië, New-Zeeland, and Canada
-
2 x 3 meter semi-anechoic rooms, 1 x 3m full-anechoic room, a 10 meter semi-anechoic room, and a reverberation chamber

LVD - Safety
Labo De Nayer offers safety testing services and consultancy to ensure your product will meet the essential requirements of the European Low Voltage Directive (LVD). Next to IT equipment, we are acquiring accreditation for safety assessments offered for a broad range of electrical products including medical devices, household appliances, etc.
-
Full offering of safety testing services and consultancy
-
Support testing on all sorts of electrical and electronic products

Mechanical
To respond to legal or customer imposed requirements for increased product reliability, we simulate a range of mechanical stress types. “You make it, we shake it” applies to any consumer market product, intra package equipment or even a satellite part. One way of detecting product failure is by tracing shifts in measured resonance frequencies.
-
Vibration, shock and free fall testing to evaluate mechanical stress
-
Various electrodynamic shakers and a slip table for horizontal vibrations
-
Compare test results with product reliability requirements or standards

Climatic
Will your product reliably withstand varying climatic conditions during operation or transportation? Our climatic testing services reveal the likelihood of performance loss or permanent damage under simulated climatic conditions (e.g. temperature, humidity, pressure variations, thermal shock). We are equipped with climatic chambers of different cell sizes.
-
A range of climatic cell sizes, up to a 16 m³ walk-in chamber
-
Detect potential performance loss or permanent damage

Antenna calibration
When testing equipment for radiated emission or immunity, the use of accurate and calibrated antennas is essential. We support different antenna related standards and calibration methods: ARP958 (automotive, space and military), ANSI C63.5 (civil applications), etc. As a BELAC-accredited body, Labo De Nayer is equipped to deliver accurate results and calibration certificates.

CBTL & NCB
Since 2017, Labo De Nayer received the status of CB Testing Laboratory (CBTL). We are allowed to perform test programmes and issue test reports for IEC International Standards, which form the basis for the CB Test Certificates that we deliver. Also since 2017, Labo De Nayer collaborates with PCCB (Product Certification Center in Brussels), which operates as NCB (National Certification Body) within the IECEE CB Scheme. Test reports are reviewed and certified by PCCB within the framework of EMC and electrical safety.

RED
Our specialists assist your organization in obtaining compliance with RED, the radio equipment directive (2014/53/EU). The directive sets essential requirements for radio equipment in terms of safety and health (LVD), electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), and the efficient use of the radio spectrum (RF). RED applies to all products using the radio frequency spectrum.

CB-Scheme
Labo De Nayer is an organization recognized as CBTL by IECEE CB Scheme. It is an international worldwide system for mutual acceptance of test reports and certificates dealing with the electrical safety and EMC of electrical and electronic components, equipment and products.
